Chavakkad Beach is also known as Blangad beach because it is technically located in the Blangad town of Thrissur. The area where the beautiful beach is situated around a fisherman village that allows you to peep into their ways of living. You will get to witness the wooden boats they use, the nets with which they catch fish, and the auctioning of freshly-caught fishes as well. If you visit the Chavakkad beach, you could also get to visit a lovely place called Chettuva, which is located at a distance of a few kilometers from the beach. This town will allow you to get a glimpse of the ancient Thrissur with numerous ancient temples out there.
